Medical keyboards of our days are offering comprehensive support to keep hygiene continuously at the necessary high level. But only if the users are following the cleaning and disinfecting demands and recommendations, its specific advantages can be used. To put that fact more intense into user awareness, ProKeys has add the so called CleanRemind feature to its line of medical keyboards.
CleanRemind is an operating time controlled cleaning and disinfecting reminder. With the start of the PC, plug-in of the keyboard or running through a clean lock supported cleaning procedure, a count-down is started. Once it is completed, a decent but clear optical reminder is being activated.
Depending on keyboard type, a fading LED is reminding the user to perform another cleaning/ disinfecting procedure. While the reminder is active, the keyboard remains in full operating condition of course. By using our electronic CleanLock-function prior cleaning the reminder will be reset and a new time sequence starts. This CleanRemind function is fully hardware based, no specific driver or software is required. The count-down time can be adopted individually to your needs with a setup procedure at the keyboard.
