CleanRemind

ProKeys, a German manufacturer of keyboards and mice for the health-care sector, implemented in its line of medical keyboards the innovative electronical function CleanRemind.

CleanRemind is an operation-time controlled visual reminding function.

It supports users of input devices in medical environment to assure a continuously high hygiene-level by performing cleaning and disinfecting procedures more regularly. 

Following our maxim, form follows function, each EvoBoards keyboard incorporates design features that allow effective and efficient cleaning and disinfecting.
Completely sealed, free of seems and crevices with only decently contoured surfaces, are these devices state-of-the–art and perfectly suited for clinical environment.

CleanRemind is the perfect addition, it makes the use of these specific keyboards even more efficient.

With the start of the computer, plug-in of the keyboard or after a cleaning procedure by using the lock function, a count-down starts. Once it reaches its end, a visual warning at the keyboard is activated. Depending on keyboard model, a fading LED light at the front, reminds the user to perform a cleaning/ disinfecting procedure. The keyboard remains fully in operation mode, despite the warning is active.

Using our lock function during the cleaning process, quits CleanRemind and starts a new count-down sequence.                     

CleanRemind as a function of our EvoBoards, can be used at each computer platform without a need for driver or specific software. The count-down time can be adapted to your individual preferences at the keyboard.
